There is plenty of that to go around.

It takes a lot more patience to deal with calling to try and get a refund than it does to just send them notice you want a refund, give them a bit of time to provide it, and if not chargeback, unless you really need the money right now.
"Just the tip"
Reminds me of something I used to say as a teenager to the young ladies! But hey it did seem to work quite a bit of the time.
I bought mine new in the box but still second hand, so if mine bend I'm just SOL.On a side note, they are sending out free replacement stand offs for the Skeletors… just email them.

Welcome. Do a search on this site for tethrd, fail, amsteel, Gen 1 predator...lots of faulty products since the beginning and other not so great decisions...Please don't cast stones at this newbie. First, Wow!!! I can't believe I just got read 35 pages about faulty sticks that I had considered buying until I reminded myself that my old Lone Wolf sticks have been working great plus I knew my wife would find out, not that I am scared. This is definitely a very passionate group with years of knowledge to share. That is one reason I joined the Saddle Hunting Community. I know this forum was mainly on the Gen 2 sticks but after reading all this, I am left wondering if there are any quality issues with other products from Tethrd. Again, I am new and my head is spinning just a bit but the main reason I got into saddle hunting was for the Safety aspect of constantly being attacked to the tree.... plus the freedom of just walking around the tree on my ring of steps smiling like a kid in a candy store. Back to the Safety, I just purchased my son and son-n-law their first Saddle Hunting kits from Tethrd. The kits included the Eberhart saddle, lineman's and Tether rope.......and.... Predator platform.
Should I be worried about the quality of the platform, has there been any issues with them? I probably should have sleep on this before posting but I have to know if I made a bad decision.

If you are worried about a Gen3 platform ,there has been no problems that I’m aware of or issues with rope or the Eberhart saddle… but I’m just one person not the thousands that have purchased the newer products. Your purchase is not a Gen1 platform or Tethrd Gen2 ONE sticks,so I would not be worried. Please don't cast stones at this newbie. First, Wow!!! Pretty sure some 1st Gen predator platforms snapped at the back...@Just_Hangin_N_GA - Some folks had a crack develop in the Predator platform coming out of the hole where the leveling adjustment bolt is located. This happened to some owners of the first generation (and maybe the second generation?) predator platforms. I haven't heard of any of the third generation platforms having the issue, but I don't think they've been producing the third generation for very long. (The third generation is die-cast, not sand-cast.) Here's a lengthy thread on the issue that started with the first generation of the predator platform: https://saddlehunter.com/community/index.php?threads/predator-cracked.35035/
I'll start. I think the butt heater they coined the "SBW" hasn't failed...It would be shorter list to list their successes.
