Not sure if it makes a difference, but when you tie your scaffold knot onto the delta link does it matter which end of the triangle it end up? Does it matter if it's on the single end or should it be in the middle of the other two corners ?

One thing I have noticed is a hard pendulum swing on my set up. The way the knot is dressed, the triangle seems to rotate as to not be flat against tree. Im not sure if this causes hazardous loading but it does make it hard using a ros because of how much it wants to pull me back to original position and causes me to swing back. Just something to consider when cinching your knot on the triangle and maybe a little backyard test wouldnt be a bad idea.

Anyone have any issue with the screwgate getting jammed where it's tough to operate?

I've been thinking of picking up a delta link for the top end of my tether but the possibility of the screwgate jamming caused me to second guess the idea. I certainly don't want to have to pack a wrench with me.
I think I'm going to stick a crescent wrench or vice-grips in my bino bag or somewhere else on my gear, just in case my delta link gets stuck. Probably dot on some mineral oil as well to keep things moving right.
