You realy gunna carry all that.

That definitely does not look fun if ur packing a lot of weight or cumbersome gear

Ultralight and streamlined would be highly desirable

I'll be there first to admit I'd prefer hunting your terrain but I gotta work with what I got.

Weirdo blue hairs don't own the streets around here so I guess it's a compromise ....hehehehe
You mean the blue speedbumps on the way to work...we speed up for them.its only 1 little neighborhood in downtown portland.but they spread like lice

Only 2.5 miles. I’ll carry my stuff. I have read here that guys are carrying 20+ pounds for an eastern day hunt. That’s more than I carry for 4 days of elk hunting.

Through hikers dont carry that much for a 4 month hike.hippies got a titanium spoon for eating granola.1lb.hammok,1lb.chair you can lean back in.lightweight 4 layer clothing systems.guys can set up à whole camp for 7 to 8 lbs.inflateable sleeping pads.....imagin inflateadle ass pads for dudes who aint comforitable in saddles or inflateable petastools like the weldabeast platform.feels like as a hunting comunity we are cavemen just learning what carbon fiber is all of a sudden, after tying rocks to trees with vines for mellinia.

I forgot....its on another thread.....and all my gear is modular to fit different hunt styles across different species, blacktail deer are different in the cascades , valley, and coastrange alone.let alone other animals .the rosivelt elk act diffetent in these places too.then cross the cascades and there are rockie Mt. Elk.wich have different habbits.then mule deer ,antilope ,and then dirds are diffetent.why do you think i clown on gear that isnt versitle enough ,modular enough, ultralight enough,or just not thought out enough to cross all aspects of hunting.....not just hunting whitetail from trees.thenbackpack hunting is way diffetent.oh....but besides my projectiles my gear is light....know that.
