I really feel like I can't thank @bongo enough for his help this weekend. He toted me and @bowhunter15 around up and down the river in his boat, he taught us a lot about pig hunting and he kept us constantly entertained with his stories. He is a great guy so thank you again bongo!

I didn't get to take many photos this weekend, but this one will always be one of my favorites!

Thanks @bongo for letting the new guy (who you’ve never met before this weekend) tote around your extra Kestrel during saddlepalooza. I was too busy chasing pigs around on foot to really get to spend much time in a tree but it’s just a matter of time now.

Not a single one of us. I take that back, I think there were 2 shots fired. There were no pigs killed in the making of this saddlepalooza.
 
I’m pretty sure someone filmed bongo on the hand climber. He is pretty good at it.

If you had not been tethered in, we would not have been so cavalier. But, we knew that you could just hang in your saddle for however long it took us to put in place one of the 40-50 climbing systems available at the campground. Your full arm and leg bear hug of the tree was pretty entertaining though :)

I don’t know where I was to miss this but who filmed that.
 
Funny thing is I was there and still missed Bongos demo, as a fellow xop hand climber I am very interested in watching someone else do it.

It was Saturday after lunch on the light pole at the pavilion. It was enough to make me want to try again. Maybe we can talk @bowhunter15 into posting the video. It seems like there was a film crew around camp all weekend.
 
Like my climber, I would put some webbing on the platform for foot holds and a bungy around my heels to secure until I get to hunting height and then place bungy around tree securing platform to tree. That way it can't slide unintentionally.
 
Anyone want to buy one of the Hand climbers? I have one and I'm not going to use it. I have too many other options.
