    Why don't yall 2TC?

My thoughts after less than a month into 2TC with backyard climbs/descents and no rappel. Assembling gear for the rappel though I find the descent easy enough and I may not rappel, we'll see. @Red Beard & @always89y videos as well as a few messages was all I needed for instruction & gear...

Treesuit Saddle with Suspenders - Stays in Position for 2 Tether Climb & gets load off hips when packing.

1" tubular webbing sewn to itself to form a loop large enough to slide over the 2" waist strap for the other linemans belt connection. I sewed it to the waist strap in a position good for my size.

Treesuit Saddle with Suspenders - Stays in Position for 2 Tether Climb & gets load off hips when packing.

I did not change anything on the original D ring, still there. That single D ring & lineman's line with snap, per instructions, was positioned at the belly button when securing to the tree for the climb which made it difficult to get around steps while climbing. I sewed REI 1" tubular webbing...

Treesuit Saddle with Suspenders - Stays in Position for 2 Tether Climb & gets load off hips when packing.

The waist belt is original except I sewed (speedy stitcher) 1" tubular webbing on the right side (wearing) for use with the original lineman belt vs using designated d-ring that Treesuit shows wearing centered on your body. Elastic band centered in the back hooks over the white knob (chair leg...

    Sold please close

If $130 includes everything as pictured/described & shipped, I'll take it. If you still have the G hooks for leg straps that would be nice too so I have the option to sew new straps. Please send me you paypal info via msg. Thank you.

Treesuit Saddle with Suspenders - Stays in Position for 2 Tether Climb & gets load off hips when packing.

Also wanted to thank Ruckerduck for the measurements on his seat strap mod. This weekend I cut the original straps, sewed in a D ring on each strap end & built an 1/4" amsteel adjustable bridge; things are coming together!

Treesuit Saddle with Suspenders - Stays in Position for 2 Tether Climb & gets load off hips when packing.

Had trouble raising my main tether easily up the tree because the weight of the rigid seat and droop of the thigh strap when I stood on the foot tether. I figured I'd need a traditional saddle or keep climbing with my Steppladder steps. Yesterday afternoon it came to me, suspenders, attached to...

Any saddle hunters in northwest Ory gun.

I lived in North Bend for a number of years while in the Coast Guard and am now retired about 2hrs E of Portland on the WA side. I've always been a ground dweller for both blacktail & elk but plan to sit for some elk this fall. I bought a rigid seat saddle called a Treesuit in the late 90's but...

Original Gen1 Treesuit with mods - Makes sense to keep using it but keeping my mind open!

I'm an occasional sitter, prefer spot & stalk for Elk with a muzzleloader. This year I have a couple spots I'm going to sit on so I drifted back to Saddlehunter to check out the latest gear. After reading all the discussions about comfort (personal thing), weight, transportability, etc I nearly...

    Sewing with braided fishing line

I got my speedy stitcher the other day and just completed a double d-ring strap for my treesuit. One side I stitched with the supplied waxed thread the other side I stitched with 80lb Tuf Line XP braid. The braid laid down cleaner and pulled through the two 2" heavy straps I was sewing easier...

    Tree Suit Modifications?

The speedy stitch is on my list for the D-ring addition as well as a 1" cam-over buckle for my climb paws platform. I cut down one of my ratchet straps to put 3 climb paws on and then this evening I read about the cam-over buckle... better idea! Today I completed making a hanging step off of 6...
