Had trouble raising my main tether easily up the tree because the weight of the rigid seat and droop of the thigh strap when I stood on the foot tether. I figured I'd need a traditional saddle or keep climbing with my Steppladder steps.
Yesterday afternoon it came to me, suspenders, attached to the waist belt.
Proved to be perfect for the 2TC method, probably one stick as well, and it gets the weight off the hips when walking in. Win-win. I dont even tighten the waist band on the climb; loosened more than normal for pic.
Hangs a little to one side because of the tethers & lineman's belt in the pouch. Once I get my roll pouch sewn that will carry my rappel rope I'll hang it on the other side.
