    Yea, Carbon fiber, 7075 aluminum, plastics and Magnite. Not sure what else they could do short of helium filled to lighten these up anymore. Hopefully the rest of the industry will make their twist on these technologies just to give us more personal options.

    I cammed just the bottom, then both, then toe hooked and did the bottom, then tried both again. Same result off the top separating until I pulled out the cam strap, then all was well. This was on a live soft barked silver maple. Maybe the rope was stretching being new? HFAS did the same though...

    I don't think it will be much of an upgrade as it is a little smaller but from what I can tell, v2 has noticeable less flex.

    Found this method could damage or even cut the rope. Had to be real careful with both the supplied amsteel and the HFAS.

    I had the same result at 200lbs with the supplied rope and the HFAS I have. Holds tight with a 7.6oz cambuckle strap though. May just use that. Very little flex, not as solid as the XOP. Never really been comfortable with the HFAS and it seemed to take too much effort to get right on my Edge...
