How many guys use an aider on their platform? I want to try 2 sticks w/ moveable 3 step aider plus a 1-2 step aider on platform but need to play with it and figure how to attach it to platform. Since my moveable aider is a BWM top standoff loop aider, it doesnt lend itself to using on platform as well. I'm wondering about using 2 soft shackles at the spacer but have never used soft shackles as yet.

An Amsteel aider takes up so little space and weight, why not put one on each stick and not have to move it?

I run three sticks. My top stick has an EWO platform on top. I run Amsteel sliders in all three. Three steps on the bottom two and a single step on the top stick. Gets me to 18+ feet at my platform.

I dont get how so many guys say their getting 18' with setups similar to yours. Unless Im missing something, you'd have a total of 8 steps to your platform. 27" step to step??

I do most of the time. It just feels natural to me. I think the aider is actually easier to use farther out from the tree on the platform vs a stick. That's a CGM I use on it, I like it so much I would upgrade the attachment method to something more permanent but I've had very few issues just sliding it on like in the pictures

I attached a two step aider to my rzr platform for no sticking and only went up 6’ in my backyard to see if I’d like it. I liked the aider being farther from the tree than on my sticks. I’m waiting for some actual free time before I give it a full trial run
