My taxidermist got by buck back really quick so I gathered some sticks, made my bushcraft backpack frame and got him tied on today! Let me know what you all think. God Bless!

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Very cool! I like how he did the ears. They are usually the thing that some taxidermist don't get right on this style of mount.

Going to these mounts now especially with the mobile, public land, pack out craze that’s so popular now. I think it’s neat because it not only memorializes the deer but the actual hunt method as well.

Not sure if you plan to keep your mount there or if it was just for the picture. I would definitely not keep it there. The heat will dry out the nose of the mount and it will eventually crack. You probably already know that but just wanted to warn you just In case. Very nice looking mount.

Seems like it’s catching on! Still lots of people who haven’t seen a mount like this before though. I like them because they don’t stick out away from the wall like the shoulder mounts do.
