Let it fly. I've had deer come in right after like they were checking out the noise with no negative reaction.
Watched a guy drink from the wrong mountain dew bottle once... Mouthful of dip spit!I always get a laugh over guys that carry their pee around in a bottle. That’s pure self humiliation there. Just don’t drink out of the wrong “water” bottle. LOL

I consider peeing from/near the stand to be both scent control and scent wicking. I’m convinced that by the time the pee ammoniates (usually in very short order), the deer can’t tell the difference between their own brand and mine anyway. I try to find a scrape or rub near my setup to hit first, then by the time I’m up for a while I’ve gotta go again. It’s the main reason I went for a platform instead of ROS. Lightweight, quiet, and easy to pee from.I have my own thoughts on this, not sure if they are correct. Always wanted to ask this to a bunch of other hunters. What’s everyone’s thoughts, “P” in a bottle or just let it go from the stand??

Makes sense. It’s the main reason I went for a platform instead of ROS. Lightweight, quiet, and easy to pee from.
Does he say use a bottle?I like John Eberharts thinking on this subject.
I'm a Wensel groupie.Mr Barry Wensle told me about peeing on a deer in about 1980 something while I was teaching him and Rick Blase hunter ed at a archery shop in pittsboro nc,scine then I've peeled on lots of critters, bears, coons, groundhogs, button bucks ect.Ha just thought most of you will have no idea who Barry and Rick are.
Go check out the Barry seminar at ETAR...its on The Push Archery (Youtube, too).Me too, like the ol guy.i meet him and Rick maybe a dozen times over the years.Rick is Barry's old sidekick from back in the days when they made there first video Bowhuntin October whitetails. He lived about 20 minutes south of me and was a chiropractor in ashboro nc. Haven't thought about them guys in years.
