“Technical” pants for briar country??

I have put sitka mountain pants to the test with briars and crap here and just spent the weekend in south texas where everything has thorns or spines of some sort. These pants have held up remarkable better than I ever expected and the built in knee pads provide a good bit of protection for your legs taking too much abuse. Pants have no snags or tears in them and this is the 4th year on them.

I’ve been wearing the Duluth briar pants this year and they work great. A little heavy but I’ve been walking around in 90 degree temps and haven’t felt over heated in them so it seems they breathe pretty well.
