2 tether or die.

When I first saw a 2tc video I thought you would have to be nuts to try that. Since I am 1/2 nuts, I decided to try it. My first couple of attempts led me to believe my first impression was correct. You have to be nuts to do this. I persisted and adjusted my equipment and technique to work for me and with some more practice, I think it might replace my one stick climbing. I believe I am quieter, create less slack and can more easily adjust to trees that are not perfectly straight. I have plenty of time to practice before next season. Hopefully by that time I will have all the bugs ironed out.

With my 2 stirrups, climbing aider, rappelling length tether, linesman, extra friction hitch and biner I have the option to climb multiple ways. I can use the leap frog stirrups and aider style that I use 99% of the time, reconfigure some ropes around and 2tc, or if the situation is right...I can throw my grapple hook up over a branch and pull my tether up and rope climb.....combine elements from all different climb styles to achieve as much versatility as I can get with the least amount of gear
i said you kick my ass already man ...sheesh.just stomp my nutz flat when im down.

I'd love to go out there and bring some east coast swagger and see how it plays out....probably never happen but I can day dream right?

@tailgunner u would fit right in here in the freedom state. U can be the judge on if our Seminole whitetails are as hard to get a shot at as ur blacktails...
