The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

Hard lessons learned always stick with you.
That was the worst of the worst lesson. Turkey fever. Pressure of self. Using a bead sight (I prefer red dot). Shooting beyond my ethical range, especially with a 28 gauge. No purring or attempts to coax him nearer. Thinking TSS would do the job with 9 1/2. I knew all of these things yet got paralyzed which was why I posted - so we all can learn a good lesson. The 28 is going to Rob Roberts for a red dot and a lot more practice will go in before that gun goes near the turkey woods again.
