Yea but u guys got some monster racks fallin up there... Pros and cons. Im not really south at all anymore but most of our deer in MD wont drop until late feb early march anyway. I just keep hitting spots until they fall. Only small stuff so far. its good scouting for new public land deer spots. and exercise for turkey season. I hold off on my honey holes til march so i dont spook em out of where i know they like to bed. I did hit one already so my wife could find one and im pretty sure we ruined it. Found nothin too. She gets salty if i keep bringin her to junk new spots haha.Sitting here in Northern Wisconsin with a foot of snow on the ground. Makes for some hard shed hunting. No it’s a PA public land archery kill.Thats not a western MD buck in your avatar is it? If it is thats a hell of a mountain buck
Looking in the corn pile has worked good for me lol...Hey fellas, what's your secret to finding sheds? Do ya'll use a dog? I know deer density matters of course and that may be part of it, but I have marginal success although I cover a lot of ground, check bedding areas, south facing slopes, known late season feeding areas. Any other tips?
Might be good if you have an inch or two. Not when you have a foot on the ground. Most sheds are buried and the walking is hard. We just got another 6" last night. We haven't really had any warm weather to melt any of the snow.I like looking in the snow. They stand out pretty good. Overcast and rainy is my favorite. They glow
Believe this man when he says he's picked up over 200 sheds. I seen um!They were found like that. I’ve probably picked up over 200 sheds and that is maybe my 10th set and only maybe the third where they were laying that close together
What do u guys do? Ice fish? Id go crazyI 2nd that wisco we don't shed hunt til the end of March
