2023 Florida Saddlehunter meet up…..

I don't have any gear, and I haven't climbed a tree outside of a ladder stand in almost 40 years but I am interested in saddle hunting.

All I know about this is from YouTube videos and blogs. Is this for fat old guys with zero experience, or should I work my way up to this for next year?

it's for all ages and body types

I’ve seen all types from young skinny to middle aged and over 300 lbs to 60 plus and different body types. If you are serious about trying it out and learning especially from guys who are paid to hype it on you tube, this would be a great event for you.

Dude That’s awesome. The more the merrier. Just make sure everyone goes on the link I posted on here and pre-registers. We are trying to get counts for the food and t shirts. They can register from my company page without having to come on here as well if they aren’t forum members
 
My march trip to St Pete may not happen, and I already bought the plane ticket. There is now a 5% chance I may come crash the party, likely with the HC mini as that would be easier to put in a suitcase and fly down. What's the last possible date to register for a campsite etc? No worries if late registration disqualifies from tshirts and whatnot, very slim chances anyway.


And the best way to conserve water is to skip the shower entirely, it's only two days lol

The entire camp grounds have been booked so registering late won’t affect your camping spot. Just keep us in the loop. We’d love to have plenty of the out of state forum guys.

U can shower with me if u want too sweetcheeks.....xoxoxo

U could show up whenever u want and nobody think twice.....

I'm leaving after work Friday so should be on site 5-6...

Check out the regulations....u need a medical exemption to hunt with a crossbow on public as a resident....I don't know for sure if u would be legal with a crossbow during small game.season or not

Thanks for the heads up, perhaps the bow is a better way to go then. I'll make sure to research it all before. I make any decisions for sure. Heck maybe I'll just be an observer if I make it
 
I propose everybody bring 5 dollars to throw in a pot. First coyote gets the pot....no dogs killed it can be be sealed and added 2 next year.... What do u guys think
 
Thanks for comments. I'm not what you would call a social butterfly, but I'm going to try to talk myself into this and get out of my comfort zone. With that said, is the hunt archery only? I think I read somewhere that center fire isn't allowed.
