2023: Tethrd Ultralock Saddle (Formerly, the LockDown)

I don't know how I missed this. This now has my attention. I'd be interested in seeing further 1st hand experiences after a full season. Love the pouches. I wish they were removable.
I really like mine, although I don’t have much experience with other saddles. I had a tx5 which I practiced with a little bit this was way more comfortable

Hey guys, any word through the vine as to whether Tethrd will release the lockdown pouches separately? Swooped back through and read through the lockdown. Great read. Hope everyone had a great season and blessed time with the fam during the holidays.

A company who spends so much time on legal thinks making fun of an potentially failing upstart is cool. Thumbs down.

Do your homework Tethrd.

Every one of their stands are called the lockdown lol the irony tickles me to death

Something about middle age has really made me dislike that punching down nonsense. I know I normally defend and/or go to bat for them but that I’m cool you’re not “humor” ain’t it.

Wait, the stands cost less than the saddles, lol, lol, lol

Often it goes both ways, but in this case it is against them imo. Honestly, it’s this manner of business that turns me off more than anything to the company.

I’m not against try and fail and try again.

Totally agree that it goes both ways, we certainly see that often enough. To be honest for me it doesn’t make me buy more or less of their stuff, or any companies for that matter. It might leave a bad taste in my mouth but I’m selfish so if I find products that are better for my style of hunting I’ll probably buy them. I put some emphasis on American made where I can and would like to buy from good people but overall I’m probably not a good person. I put my needs and desires first, and I am buying for my desires and not what a company does on social media.

Hopefully I’ll just get to be one of the first to own an Ultralock saddle, those Lockdown suckers will be jealous!

Is this why the award winning Vader is now a boring CFX? Or is that more about the multi-year delay to bring it to market. Wonder if anyone cares about the product name “Death Star”. Lol.

How does Latitude get away with X-Wing?
Latitude is playing with fire. Let’s just say I have some mild experience with the mouseketeers…they probably have no clue a hunting company exists that is using their trademark, but once they get wise they WILL send a C&D.
I had a friend who was part of a nonprofit that used the term “Jedi”, thought they were too small to be noticed. Well, it took a few years but eventually Lucasfilm threw the book at them.
