2024 Off-Season Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

Also did just over 4 on the treadmill today. Been fighting off some shinsplint-esque pain particularly on the right leg so dialing it back down and spending some time icing my legs tonight/for the next few days. Fingers crossed I'm just a bit sore and it doesn't continue to get worse. Ups and downs every day for sure.

Pretty happy with it overall. I had 30 min for 3 miles in my head when I started, so I came fairly close. Really picked up the pace the last .3 miles ( I guess), definitely need to work on pace. Felt like my warmup was good, got me to my second wind or close. Felt good during the run, felt good running through my other little walls and finishing strong.
 
Nice work all. I'm struggling to get back in to my routine after a trip to Cancun. Going camping this weekend too, so that won't help.

I took a rest/icing my shins day today. Planning to run easy 5-6 tomorrow and sat and hopefully long (10-12) sun as long as the legs are feeling good but I'll take it one day at a time. May cut way back of they don't. Icing seems to be working a bit but time will tell

Had travel for work the last 2 days, got home about 8 last night. Planned to workout at the hotel but it was wonky and my back was not happy with the long day of driving so I skipped the last 2 days. Leaving town after lunch to go watch the Hogs and Gators baseball game if it doesnt get rained out so likely wont get a workout in today either. I will do my best to get some extra cookies in though for make up.
 
Interval style , walk/ run , for 4.7 today. Probably had my heart rate higher than I wanted but I'm sure I'm not in worse shape for my efforts lol. Gym in the morning, probably circuit style.
 
I’ve fallen off the last couple weeks. Only got one day of lifting in each week and haven’t got any hiking in since turkey hunting with @Bigterp last weekend.

Tomorrow I’m making the time for a 5-6 mile hike and I’m getting back in the weight room Monday.

Someone call me out Monday evening if you don’t hear from me. :)
