Looked it up after @Bigterp mentioned it. Would be good for me to do it. Will I loose arrows? I would hate to loose my FOC builds. Would it be worth getting a dozen off the shelf ones to use?

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

It is a blast! I’m planning on it again at Seven Springs PA. Great time, it really is.
@woodsdog2 & I discussed the alternate build for Tac to no end last year. I finally settled on getting another dozen match grade eastons & setting them up the same as my hunting arrow. Just praying I wouldn’t lose too many. My thought was this I practiced a lot leading up to the shoot & didn’t want to resight my bow just trying to shoot flatter & save a buck. I shot a 110yd elk target with a heavy arrow & only lost 2 all day.
I had a bunch of old beat up GT hunter shafts .400 spine I used and I lost more than two but not many more. Started with 19 arrows and came back with 15. I shot two courses and BMRC and RMEF and it was fun. I did put zingers on my shafts because most of the fletching was in bad shape on those old arrows.
Give them ole’ Gobblers a break @Micneador and shoot a foam one or three instead!
If the turkey population around broken bow is now what it was in the early 2000's I'd totally take a week off before the shoot and try to hammer an oklahoma eastern like I used to do every year.
