Maybe try researching stirrup climb and justsomedude, he was one of the pioneers of that method a long time ago. I tried variations of that, you can add a lineman, you can add a ropeman/ascender to get 2 stirrup moves before advancing tethers. For me it was a great light weight option but not efficient enough in the long run. I would still consider it in certain situations but I've gravitated away from saddle hunting as I have less time to hunt and it is usually during cold weather where the benefits of these lightweight climbing methods are largely diminished just due to the difficulty with bigger boot, more layers, bulky clothing etc...
