No secret there. We are NOT launching with a climbing method. Building the world's lightest elevated hunting system and the best pivot style platform ever conceived was enough for one launch event.

Well then since the first launch date is right around the corner scheduled for 6-1, y’all have should have plenty of time to start launch 2, lightest climbing sticks to add to your one stop shopping. Can’t wait to see the teasers on em!

Your best bet is to buy Dan Infalt's stick and mod them with amsteel

Also, the video was shot with a prototype, not the final production model. The production model will be even beefier + a few other surprises :)

Could one of the surprises be an attachable bow holder to the post cause I think that would be sweet!!!

I think you are on the right track. Out of a tree stand you may fall a few feet on a slack rope but never with a saddle.
The problem with tma today is they don't know how to deal with saddles. The only way to do it currently is to test as a fall harness.

That means we have to turn it into a 5 point harness and we don't want to do that. (Hence the suspenders on the trophyline)

We are focusing more on the standards written for arborists and mountain climbers

We aren't trying to be either one but we are trying to meet standards that make sense from both worlds.

Until they come up with a set of standards specifically for saddles (which btw standards are usually written by manufactures to limit competition. I've seen it a lot in my industry) We are going to pave our own road.

I think a bow in a bow holder on the platform would be in the way. Wouldn't be able to change positions or move around tree to take a look without it being in the way.

I sold my xop before I got the idea so I don't know if it's practical or not I was thinking something like a u slide bow holder that would attach to the top of the post and then position it so the bow sits up close to side of the tree on your bow hand side.

I was thinking a hook to hang climbing spurs. But anything that you could risk hitting with your feet and bumping it off wouldn't be worth it.

Valid point, especially in the case of spurs if that was your only means back down the tree!

Thermacell was what I was thinking. You can hang them vertically but they work better laying flat.

I’m not in the know but what I read snooping through the tethrdnation.com website mid July. That said they are bringing this as fast as they can and things can change fast.

Considering we as a group are often using climbing methods that can be removed and possibly dropped.....possibly a grappling hook or one of the hunter rescue lines would be good.

FEA looked good on the platform. :)

Did you do the FEA?! I'm curious who's behind the engineering! It would be cool to see the stress and strain analysis results. I've been playing around with designing a platform but figure now I can just quit since they seem to have nailed it!
