Southern NJ Oak Leaves are dropping, acorns are next. My house is located in an oak grove with about 20 house eating trees within about 5 ft of the house. The does are already running through the yard looking for them mostly around 9-10 pm and 2-3 am.After two years without acorns, our oaks are loaded and ready to explode. While it does open additional hunting areas, it is a curse by allowing many more movement patterns and uping the odds in a buck's favor. How is it looking in your part of the country?
