Sweet. I agree you are going to like it. I have three sticks set up with 5 step etriers. Really easy to get to 22 feet in minutes or I take one stick to drop 5 lbs, and climb one stick go whatever height I want. It all depends on how much you want to carry or time you want to spend on set up.

A 5 step etrier seems like overkill. Can you use all 5 steps?

I was wondering the same when I saw them. I was trying to figure out how you could hang the step high enough to use more than three of the steps.

But that led to my second question... How much do these etriers weigh? And would it hurt to have 5 steps vs 3? I really like the idea, especially for the first step, if nothing else.

I'm a tad over 5'6". The absolute highest I can get the top of my stick is 7 feet. That's stretching myself to the max. This puts the 3rd etrier step 15" off the ground. There's no reason for me to have any more than a 3 step etrier. The 4th step would be resting on the dirt. I would estimate that unless your 6' tall or using smaller sticks, like Muddy sticks, there's no benefit to having a larger etrier.

I use all 5 steps on my muddy sticks. Up to 4 steps with the lone wolf sticks. I prefer muddy over lone wolf for saddle hunting.

It's unreal. I have well over 20 of them. I should sell them all and buy a new bow.

If I factor in the lost I took buying recall steps then buying a good set, it's pretty embarrassing. But I'm loving my set up now.
Anyone want to buy 4 recall Ameristeps not on strap? Lol

Or wait a couple months. Value is always higher this time of year. Prices come back down in December.
