Any Fat Saddlehunters out there?

I started keto in solidarity with my daughter around May. I had already been dabbling w/ IF for a bit. It didn’t change a lot for me, I was trying to stay low carbs already. I didn’t really get shaky, there are plenty of keto recipes for muffins, cookies & fat bombs to take the edge off for your first meal. My coffee intake in the morning had to be balanced by something though or I felt it.

I tried the keto route, but kept getting really shakey from the lack of carbs. Just eating some toast or crackers was enough to make the shakes go away. The keto food was good though. Any advice on not getting the shakes from the lack of carbs with the keto stuff?

Since then I have all but cut out fast food (subway is my exception) and try to eat more sensibly. I even started working out again and hurt my shoulder in the process of course lol (something in my arm pit area popped).

I lost 60 lbs doing keto. After 4 days of low carb, I get cravings to eat carbs and do. I did that for years. 4 days on, 1 day off.

Watch Dr Berry ,Dr Crywes on YouTube for keto. It will help explain
If you want to know the Science watch Dr Boz.
Yep first8 to 10 days is rough. But sure works
Been doing it since April.

I did keto for a year and lost 70 lbs. I’m still a little keto. I do pretty good most of the time but do break down occasionally and binge on white chocolate pretzels or caramel popcorn. My keto sweet treat was a smoothie with stevia, almond butter, cocoa and almond milk. As I got closer to my target weight I swapped the almond butter for peanut butter. After I started working out I swapped the cocoa powder for chocolate protein shake mix. Some times I don’t want a smoothie and microwave my peanut butter a little then add protein shake and enough almond milk to mix to a pudding consistency.

As far as saddles go my main saddle is the phantom. I’ve got the jx3 and several other saddles as well.
For platforms I have the predator. I have the predator xl on order. I’ve got a lone wolf hand climber. Ameristeps ros and a strap on sky hook ring of steps. If all those I use the sky hook ros the most. If I had squirrel steps they would probably be my go to.

Zellersta I m not the expert, and I’m sure Keto,is not for everybody, however it has worked for me.
I can tell you Ihave lost weight ,getting close to 30 lbs this am ,in a short period of time.
My blood numbers are fantastic after years of eating and drinking . Blood Pressure now normal. I feel a thousand times better.
But to answer your question go to YouTube look up Dr.Berry Dairy,he has a very good video on that exactly. My motivation was simple I want to bow hunt more!!
I am obsessed with bow hunting just like the majority of this Community

This has been my set up uptop for years. First picture is a knock off cut down model of a climax stand I made. We had no “ platforms“ back then. This is made out of steel an heavy. I leave up year Long on feed trees. Sometimes I haul it in but I rarely hunt 1/4 mile from my vehicle. Beside it Positioned 3 and 9 o’clock is original Jim Stepp cam over I split and made it sturdier with a 4 pt contact. Night and day. It Sticks!!!

Next setup is one I use for new locations not on my usual feed trees. This extra WIDE rail was made by Ameristep. Very few sets were made. I found I guy on Archerytalk talking about them and jumped on them. I absolutely love them. They are twice as wide as original so I use as abase when I am wondering with some EZSteps and or Jim Modified Stepps. 5 EZ steps and this section and I am at traditional bow height with background. This may be my lightest setup

I’ll be a fat saddle hunter soon if I can’t play hockey and work out like I was before the shutdowns. I’ve gained the covid 19 lbs
