Found it for sale for $40 locally.
Not sure what model it is. I’m thinking it’s one of their “Mag” models.

I’m pretty sure it’s the LEM. I still have one myself. Looks like it’s in great shape. I’m on the third seat with mine.

I had one. It was my second tree stand. The first ones had plywood bases. Then came the plastic bases. Then they offered a aluminum base. I had one of those too.
These stands did not Loc On. No camover platform that was invented by Lone Wolf.

I think that might be the LOC-On Limit. They had the full aluminum platform.

Does this one have the plastic base?

Loc on in a lot of ways was WAY Ahead of their time. Look how flat that folds. Not to mention the windwalker and limit. Beside lone wolf they were advanced for the time

For 40 u did fine. Not super desirable stand model but that bad boy is cherry. That seat is dam near perfect.

Thanks for the info. Ended up getting it for $20.
For that much, it’ll work as a stand to set and leave a day or two while hunting out of state.

Yeah I don’t think you can go wrong at $20!! I can’t remember what they went for back in the day. I’m thinking the $75 or so range maybe more. The LEMs was a bit cheaper than the Limit due to the poly platform. I always liked how quiet these were with the carpet but if it rains and then freezes you’ll have a noisy mess. Cut out a cover to drape over it maybe another old piece of carpet so it’s not crunching as you move around on it.

Man that thing is in great shape! Brings back memories I killed a really nice buck late season in MD almost 23 years ago in that same model. Make SURE you have some type of harness on & do not side load in any way as a hybrid/ saddle platform. You could add a ratchet strap at the bottom to keep it from kicking out if using like you described

Went and picked it up this afternoon.
The stand almost looks like it’s never been used.
Going to swap the strap out, put some backpack straps on it, and probably stealth strip it.
Can’t beat it for $20.

Great stand for it's time. I still have mine. It Hasn't been used in years though. I would replace that nylon whoopie sling for an Amsteel whoopie ASAP. Nylon can dry rot. Couple years ago My buddy came over to borrow it. I was showing him how to set it. They are real tight and secure if you give them little jump up and down when you set it. Anyway he did this at 1' off the ground. Whoopie sling snapped! Dry rot. He took a tumble but it could've been real bad at hunting height. Scary cause back in the day we did this all the time and hunted w/o a safety belt! Never once did I ever give a thought to the working load limit of that rope. Actually met the owner one time. Nice guy. Tree stand accident lawsuits were what put him out of business.
