The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. The legs attached to the hardware would restrict the self equalizing manner of the two slings as well....
But it seems like all this conversation should be in the John e. Sling thread...cause none of these are issues with the recon.
Yes, for sure!! they are both modeled after the original Amderson/big buck sling and slightly different takes on "modernizing" it
John said to satisfy the insurance company he had to add safety features and leg straps are one of the safety features.
Leg Straps on most saddles are necessary for SRT, one sticking and rappel.

I just placed my order and sent mark an email with my size and bridge option with my order number. He got back to me very fast to confirm and I had my recon in days. It was a great investment. Will be my go to this year most likely.
You're right - sizing isn't an option on the Treehopper website. You need to call them to order a small or a large Recon, otherwise you'll automatically get the standard (medium) size.
Don't judge Mark or his product by the quality of his website
