I'm expecting my first saddle any day now...anyone on here from Arkansas? Just wondering if I was the only crazy redneck to try this lol!!!

I'm from MS but go hunt around winslow 2-3 times a year. It is about 30 minutes south of Fayetteville

I'm in Fayetteville, switched last year, sold my stands this year.

Ozark NF strictly public. Just sold my stands except my climber. Will never sell my climber. Too comfortable

I'm close to LR but hunt south AR near Camden! Glad to know I'm not the only one here! Sold my climber, I'm ready to be mobil!

Im making the switch to a saddle this season, have a mantis and predator on order. Im in NE Arkansas. It sucks carrying a lock on in the hills up here

I live in White Hall (about 30mins south of LR). I hunt 99% public, but I am also in a camp close to the house for my 2 young sons and turkeys..... Waiting on my 1st saddle to arrive.

Central Arkansas, Maumelle just outside The Rock.
Making the switch this year, well going to make the switch when the gear comes in. However, it looks like will be late September at the best but more likely in October.

Hunt lease in Zone 12, Warren. Also going to hunt the White (North Unit) & Cache River this year. Plus, a trip back to the Ouachitas where I turkey hunted in the spring. Guess what I am saying, living in the central part of the state, I hunt Arkansas.

When I was young I used to hunt just outside El Dorado. Now Im up around the Jonesboro area.

Fort Smith area. Hunt mainly in Ozark National Forest (grew up hunting there). About 90% of my hunting is public land. Made the switch to a saddle in 2007 (Trophyline Tree Saddle) and haven’t looked back. I do occasionally sit in a lock on if I want to hunt a spot I hung one for family. Lot of times I’ll just use the seat of that stand as a platform or put my ring of steps above it.
