I would use a strap similar to the kestrel and hook it on to the bridge similarly
 
I use the padded part of a luggage carry strap, tie paracord to the ends and use nite ize cam jams to clip it to my bridge and adjust the length.
 
I’m stealing G2’s idea with the Nikon strap, just cause I have one sitting around on my wife’s binos, LOL.
 
Using a sit drag? I had a Ernie outdoors linesman belt in a molle waist belt. Was /is awesome!
After I set my tether I would just put my linesman rope in the same carabiner with the bridge

I found some strap from a bag I had lying around. It the clips on each end and the metal thingy to adjust length. I used parachord for the Prusik. Not sure I will ever use it, but it is ready to go for those long days in the saddle.

Exactly what I did.
 
Most of these guys seem to go more on portability and less on comfort. Me, I am getting older. I need something comfortable that I can sit in all day, or even half a day. I would encourage you to try something with more padding than a shoulder strap so you can actually lean back in it. My back support has a one inch thick piece of foam in it and I can lean back against it all day without being uncomfortable. It is still much smaller and lighter than carrying around a tree stand.
 
I bought a padded belt like this one:

Removed the buckle, and threaded the straps back to how they were when it arrived. Then made small paracord loop that went through the strap where the buckle was on each side. Then use a cam jam with the paracord through the same carabiner as my bridge. Works great, is comfortable, and is easily adjusted. And no little prusik knots, which I thought was a plus.
