I need to buy a new public lane friendly gear hanger. I really liked my HYS from tethrd but found some amsteel offerings from places like backwoods outdoors. Anyone try both? Opinions? Thanks.

I know it’s not one you mentioned but I picked this up and really like the design of it and think it’ll be good for me.

I’ve made several paracord daisy chains and I love them for hanging gear.

i used a Backwoods Mobile Gear hanger (paired with a G3D bow hook) for years. This season i modified the bow hook with a hole to slide some paracord through and attach a cam jam (sorry Austin, stole that one from you). Little S biners to hold my pack or accessories so they don’t inadvertently fall off. But i can attest to the quality of both the BMG and G3D hangers, you can’t go wrong with either choice. The paracord just wraps up nicer for me. Good luck.

I tried the Tethrd and just found it to bulky. Cant remember who i picked this amsteel one from but its great with a Camjam on it. Live from the tree right now.

I’m on my second year using the Backwoods Mobile Gear amsteel daisy chain with cam jam and a G3D bow hook. Recurve on the left side of the tree, pack hanging on then right.I used the HYS strap and it was unnecessarily bulky.
