Barnett brake action pistol crossbow

Not sure how it stacks for power. Catman shot a deer with a pocket crossbow. He didn't recomend it for a bigger sized deer.
 
210 fps max with a tiny bolt....probably about as powerful as a 30 lbs longbow...it would kill but I'd want a razor sharp, double bevel, small cutting diameter 2 blade fixed head....and you better hit it perfectly....couldn't find the weight of the bolt anywhere......30 lbs longbow example is pulled out of my gut

With a length of 7 inches a 10gpi shaft, 100 grain insert, 125 grain head and 25 grains for nock and vanes brings you to 320 grains, if you get the advertised 210 fps you get 31.34 ft/lbs of KE. If you bump the weight to 350 grains, without losing speed, you can get 34.28 ft/lbs. That's technically enough, but a razor sharp head like a Magnus stinger will be needed. Not sure I'd want to shoot past 15 yards with it, but being a pistol the accuracy is likely to drop past 10 yards or so, especially with me jerking the trigger
