Sorry, I mis-wrote: I was part of the November pre-order, not December. I'm out of town and jetlagged; sorry for the mistake.
Why not worth the price??? I just got the email today also. I placed my order probably with in the first minute they came up for sale in November and just made it in the November shipping. they sold out that quick. At first they were supposed to ship out by the end of Nov. or earlier if available. then it was the second week of Dec. and that didn't happen. then it was before Christmas. At least it's only a month late. Im still waiting for my Flex and I ordered that back in October. they sure do take your money fast enough though. I hope they're worth the wait.Had em, sold em, not my cup of tea. Super light, extremely well made, not worth the price.
My favorites to date are the heavy muddies for packing. Running XOP's right now and I like them too. Ive owned every stick on the market.
Extremely sharp, hard to pack, don't come assembled and once you build them you'll never wanna take them apart. They don't even come with a way to strap them together. Why not worth the price??? Did HB change bolt lengths? I have the October 2019 sticks and the bolts are needing to be shortened.I’ll Bite.
My 2019 Beast sticks .
Pack Tight together ,
Im using Lone Wolf latching bungee cord $6
Not Sharp as they come with a beveled edge On stand-off on 2019 model.
Stack without any bolt trimming as in previous model runs(Mark Dohring Mod)
Stealth stripped and burnt holes using a $4 Harbor freight soldering pen
Buying US or Overseas is Not a concern.
Yes ,
we like to support local jobs but the quality on most overseas items are just as good.
If your really hoping to have all US made or supplied items.
Look at your daily items needed to function.
Home,Auto,Food ETC.
Pulled the trigger on a set of 4. Wont have them to hunt with this year but I wanted to get in line so I'll have them for 2020.
I obviously don't care about location of manufacture overall. I run all XOP stands. The issue is the price associated with it. You can buy 8 XOP sticks for the price of 4 Beasts.I’ll Bite.

Ok, we were in the same release. My sticks stack fine but are identical to Mark's video with them wobbling and rocking side to side on the bolt heads.Purchased mine when then became available on there 1st release in the Fall 2019
No Idea on if they changed ,
but mine stack fine.
Adding Stealth Strips possibly could have gave me the tight fit
I’ve watched Marks video on trimming bolt prior to receiving mine.
Only issue assembling ,
Was locating the correct size socket to fit in hole to tighten nut .
I'm currently using versastraps on my beast sticks but they can be difficult to open the loops. I have been thinking of trying amsteel but the 7/64 safe working load using Samsons minimum specs is only 320lb. Dressed in hunting gear I'm probably tipping the scales at 260lb. Add a pack and it gets heavier. I just think 7/64 is cutting it too close. My Beast sticks with 7/64 daisy chain work really well. I believe the 1/4" would be overkill, at least it was for the LW sticks.
What size nut driver? I should have mine some time after Christmas and want to be ready.Ok, we were in the same release. My sticks stack fine but are identical to Mark's video with them wobbling and rocking side to side on the bolt heads.
I tried four different 1/4" drive sockets and none worked. A nut driver fit and worked great.
1/4 drive deep socket worked fine for me. Pretty sure mine was craftsman. What size nut driver? I should have mine some time after Christmas and want to be ready.
