I am in the market for a new crossbow. I have mostly recovered from an anatomic total shoulder replacement on my left shoulder and plan on having same done in my right shoulder (most likely before season or after the rut).
I am doing fine. I asked orthopedic surgeon about crank cocking versus using a rope to cock a crossbow. He recommended the crank cocking.
Before I go further, for the love of all that is holy, please do NOT recommend a hickory creek. I will never own one of those abominations.
With that said, I am looking to get a crossbow that has a crank cocker, light, small width and quiet. I like the size of the ravin r18, but it is loud when cocking and has a reflex sight.
Any recommendations for a crank cocking crossbow that is light, small width and quiet?
Much appreciated.
