I always use fresh cow pies to mask my trail if they are available, best cover scent I have ever used on my boots
Same here! Between cow pies and smoke I feel my odor is masked enough for movement to my spots. Great for unplanned stalks

I don't shower before I go out to hunt if it's after work. It simply run home from work, change clothes and head to the woods.Do you shower?
Be aware that DDW has a shelf life (I assume all those sprays do). I tested some DDW several years ago and it was not removing odors like onion on my hands and a few other "sample odors". I contacted DDW and it was they that informed me of shelf life. I would be wary of buying it from certain stores or other sources that may have old stuff on their shelves.I use Dead Down Wind it helps but so does showering and I do use scent Lok and watch the wind .
How long of a shelf life do they have ?Be aware that DDW has a shelf life (I assume all those sprays do). I dont know for sure. I imagine there are factors involved. Storage exposed to heat and maybe air in the bottle (like a half used bottle from last year). How long of a shelf life do they have ?
Haha, but I do apply it under my arms and on the front of my pants. But it’s helpful ,and we have killed several 150”-170” on public land with deer directly down wind. You can’t always beat the whitetails nose, but this has been the most helpful cover scent we have used.
Hope this helps some of y’all kill some more deer this year.
No, it’s doesn’t stain, but once it dries out it will leave a white residue you can wash off.you put that stuff on your clothing?... that’s pretty hardcore. Does it stain?
