@keb awesome. Mine are supposed to ship tomorrow. Can't wait to try them out, I'm excited about it!

Strongly considering their ROS as my first platform when I get my Kestrel in September. I don’t want to use a ratchet strap though. Any suggestions? Would a LW camlock strap work tightly?

If you're against the ratchet I'd just look for a good OCB buckle. I don't know that the LW strap would get them tight enough.

I just go slow. You'd be surprised. I'd be willing to bet from 50 yds away you'd have trouble hearing it. That's just my opinion, but that's my a lot of guys like the ocb.

Why do companies continue to use black straps. They stick out like a sore thumb in an hardwood setting. Beige or Gray is the way to go...... maybe even olive. Any earthtone color is better than Black!

I have a bullman ROS and ha e played with it a couple times. They are awkward to try and tape the complete step. Does anyone have any methods they have had success with in silencing the steps when they contact each other?

I had these too and to my knowledge the best way to silence them is to sell them and buy squirrel steps, ameristeps or wait for new ROS to come out. Do what ya can for now but those things are awkward and slick as snot when your boots are wet or muddy.

Yeah I was considering some bedlinen spray. Was just curious what others had done

They weren't solid, & only way to get them solid was to overtighten them, then couldn't undo the rachet
