Bullman Platform Steps

I know ROS typically favors sitters. To those who have used these Bullman Platform steps, do you think the angled faces of these steps would be comfortable for leaners- no other platform involved? And for all day hunts?

I am wondering if for leaning it would work to have two steps spaced right about 6 o'clock (straight on) for leaning straight on, knees together; and then have two steps at 8 and 4'clock to straddle the tree trunk like motorcycle highway pegs? But, I have never stood on these before.

the beveled edges and wider surface area make for pretty good leaning posts. I'm not sure I would want to lean on them all day, but with a couple of options for shifting my weight around it would be doable. I'm not sure they would be deep enough for me to use two of them at 6 o'clock the way you describe, I would lean towards a 5 & 7 arrangement and have my heels touching in between. A stiff shank in your boot will be helpful when trying to use a ROS for all day sits IMO, although I haven't tried an all day hunt from a ROS.

I am not a “leaner” per se because I sit like 80% of the time. However I can say confidently that I can lean on the bullman platform steps, longer with less foot fatigue than I can with any other ring of step I have tried to this point in time. The angled sides definitely makes a difference in my opinion
And getting a good pair of logger boots or lineman style boots (aka steel shank boots) will definitely make a difference.
