Thought on the Silent approach system? The pluses I see are weight, quiet, I like the idea if you do fall on your tree devices they wont impale you. The Downside looks to be you cant get as high with the one step at a time system.

Anybody ever use it. I could see starting with a couple of climbing sticks at the base of tree and then using the 12 Bullman steps to finish the climb.

I bought the 2 pack to try them out. They’re nice but slippery when wet and they are not really made for bigger guys. I’m 230 and had the straps slip through the buckles when you really put your weight on them. I ended up going with the wild edge stepps. Easy to put up and much more sturdy. Plus you can get their aider and use half the steps to get 20-25ft.

I also got the 2 pack with the intention of getting the full system soon after. Tried them out for a bit and couldn't hardly get them tight enough to the tree. The step kept folding over as I put my weight on it. Not as safe of an option in my eyes.

I am sorry you two did not have a good experience. We will happily refund your money or provide assistance should you wish to discuss the issues you had. Your happiness is my desire as I whole heartedly believe in our product. These are unusual reports as I have never had an issue with steps being " slippery ". The ridges for traction have actually exceeded expectations. The report of not getting tight enough I also cannot understand as the steps do not have to be tight at all. Having the steps in the correct position related to force is necessary however. I will attach a video that shows when I actually climbed snow covered steps, although I would never recommend this, without issue. Also is an explainer talking about how it is not necessary for the steps to be tight at all. There is also a video on the Silent Approach YouTube showing climbing on a step with near 12" slack in the strap. There are also a large amount of videos explaining every issue you could have and a solution.
