The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Nice work @SNIPERBBB, the hay set works similarly and you don't have to really monkey with digging in frozen ground to bed the trap. May not attract as many possums but they're good to clean out of there as well. Nice video.
I wish we could use cable restraints in our state. There’s something about blind set trapping that is so appealing to me. I love setting a mink water line for that very reason. I see so many places I could place a snare where a coyote or a fox walks through it would be a great delight!!!
You can always do the mafia set, two traps set on trail so they're almost touching with a dropping in the gap between the two traps.
Do love my snares but if I had to use them under restraint laws for coyotes I wouldn't even bother as you'd lose as many coyotes as you keep.
Flat sets and scent posts in the right location are very effective.
