Cabelas stand hunter extreme

Honestly, there gets to a point in sub zero temps when the HBS is the only option. It's a harsh reality. I don't think even my fancy camo will beat the HBS. Iwom sucks

The HBB is one of the greatest investment I've made for hunting.
Just checked out the FL sanctuary line. I am liking it, for 6 bills I will need to work myself up to a purchase...The jacket is on sale in ASAT I kinda like that pattern as I will use mostly in tree or behind a blind. Looks like they discontinued the ASAT anyway.

Prices on FL should come down some now that they are only dealing direct. Not much, but some. You have several options to get it cheap regardless. These also apply to Sitka; as well as trading sizes for 1 and 2.

1. Forums for Sale
2. Facebook Groups.
3. Late Nov - Late January. This is yearly liquidation time.

The above makes it between 3 - 5 bills depending on deal or condition. Buying used is great as it loses little value in the relatively short term if you take good care of it. The garments are built to last.

I used a $30 Walmart sleeping bag this year and it was excellent. I could stay out in the cold all day but I don’t know if I could have maneuvered around if I had the chance. BassBoys I was hoping that wasn’t true that heater body suit is only option.
Depends on the sleeping bag. I've rocked some very cold weather in the HBS. Coldest was about -35. Everyone is different but I require a good "cacoon" in those temps. The HBS stays quiet in those temps but it isn't necessarily saddle friendly. Usually I don't hunt from a saddle in those temps.

I got em in the mail and can say I will enjoy my cold wv hunts with this baby. Suit is made well and shouldn't have any trouble bowhunting out of it. Much better than my Walmart sleeping bag lol.

Sad to say Cabelas has cancelled the Standhunter Jacket and bibs...Ill blame BP

I have the stand hunter extreme coveralls. I love them. They are a little bulky but most cold weather gear is and they do a good job. I bought the sitka fanatic bibs and jacket this year. The warmth is probably pretty comparable. I've sat down to zero in the stand hunters when layered up. The sitka is a little less bulky but it still adds up.

I have some of the same coveralls! They're incredible! I wore mine with no base layer on some single digit temp days with double digit winds(absolutely freezing down her in the south) and managed to stay warm. I love how they pack down super tight! The only complaint I have about mine is that they're the camo designed for western hunters and are very light compared to what I would typically wear here.
