Any idea how that happened? (Asking so we can keep it from happening to others and keep the SH community safe.)sorry for anyone that had to deal with the a hole that hacked my account.
How does this help in my situation where its obvious this was a scam, does PayPal just take your word for it if you find out they have scammed you?it’s been said before and will probably be said again but I’ll say it again just cuz. PayPal goods and services only!

This ^^^^. There is no recourse with F&F, Venmo, etc and scammers know this. That’s why they push so hard. Anyone here (I’m generalizing but I think I’m right) will have no prob selling G&S, they might tack on 3% to help with the fee but they’ll understand. I’ve also had to do a PayPal G&S charge back, it does take a minute but you’ll get your money back. When g/s is used you would submit a claim for fraud. In order to win the scammer would need to have provided a tracking number showing an item was delivered to you. They can’t therefore you should win. It takes awhile and the process is usually drawn out(30+ days) but I was successful the 1 time I needed to use it. M
For what it’s worth I was able to successfully get my money back once even though I used F&F. It was the time the scammer was dumb enough to gloat in posts on this site about it being a scam. I screenshot the posts and submitted them with my claim.
If you have messages showing he requested f&f, it might be worth filing a claim, it can’t hurt.
Whaaaaat? Really? That I have to see.
So his handler doesn’t beat him for lying about his actual profit.Look out for Chrii. Pretty sure he's a scammer that got me for $85. Something felt weird about the whole deal. I didn't pay attention to the warning signs. He kept pressing me for a screenshot of the payment "for his records". Why do they do that?
Thanks for the report @1simplemann, its really the only method we have to identify these guys. Sincerely sorry for your loss though.Look out for Chrii. Pretty sure he's a scammer that got me for $85. No worries. Not that big of a deal. It's just the point that there are scumbags out there in this world. To quote Tony Beets from Gold Rush" Lessons in life are not free. Good lessons cost money. REALLY good F'ing lessons cost a LOT of F'ing Money!" I just learned a good lesson. Don't ASSUME that everyone out there is like Honest like you. Thankfully it wasn't a really good f'ing lesson. Thanks for the report @1simplemann, its really the only method we have to identify these guys. Sincerely sorry for your loss though.
