I was considering using 1/2” and 3/4” aluminum tubing to make a diy telescopic saddle camera arm.
Purchased some Hawk extendable gear hangers from @Savedbygrace2001 on here a few weeks ago to see if I could make them work instead.
Swapped a few included washers around and now have a bow / gear hanger and phone mount for filming.
10 oz with phone mount or 18 oz for all three pieces.
Packs up to 9” x 3” and uses the gear hook as a handle for panning phone.
Cost me about $15 off classifieds plus a few bucks for stealth strips.
