I traded for one on here and tracking says it's out for delivery. May end up using it tomorrow morning.
The Cruzr XC is an awesome saddle. Can't beat it. I love it.
Ok so I didn’t get in it yesterday, pretty much rained all day here in IL. Just got out into it this morning though. Super comfy(I was only hanging for 45 mins though)! I got the XC package with back band, cruzr bag, lineman’s and tree tether. The 8mm lineman’s rope had a few abrasions after using it with my ropeman 2. Not a fan of that at all, especially since the rope was used for less than 45 mins during climbing. So I may be going back to my old lineman‘s. The cruzr bag attaches to the molle loops weird and I can see it coming undone and being lost during usage. The amsteel bridge end that has the knot, had a loosely attached shrink tube that came off right away as well. Not a big deal but I mean, common lol. I can absolutely see myself only using this from here on out on public. I do need more time in it though. I’d attach photos but it’s telling me there too big.

Hunted in my cruzr xc this morning for about 3 hours. Coming from a phantom its a world of difference in comfort. The shrink tube came off the knot end of my bridge too
ropeman 2's are notorious for rope damage. Thats why they are not popular like the 1's.

Feed the pouch attachments through the top of the molle loop instead of the bottom. The metal hardware will end up at the the bottom of the molle loop and be less obtrusive.
If I’m not mistaken, the ropeman 2 is to be used with rope sizes down to 8mm where as the ropeman 1 is to be used with rope sizes down to 10mm. The cruzr lineman’s is an 8mm line. I could be wrong, been wrong plenty of times before lol

I got to use my cruzr this morning for about 5 hours and wasn’t disappointed. I traded for it on a whim but think I’ll really like it.
also, the rope man 2 is for the smaller diameter ropes so you picked the correct one but the teeth are more aggressive and people have reported the damage you’ve experienced from using them. Get a prusik tender and a distel or schwabish and never look back.

You are correct. Most people use a Kong Duck or make a prussic tender (my preferred method) ropemam 2s are rough on ropes.
