So it’s my understanding they are coming out with a few new packs this year. This is my first time hunting this coming season with a saddle and I did get the Seeker platform. anyone have any idea the cost?

im in the market now trying to figure out how to carry my platform and sticks.

I’m new to the game as well and also have the seeker. I started practicing by strapping it onto my pack but recently started carrying it on my chest by running chest strap through platform and belly strap around it. I like this better bc it is easier to retrieve once you are at hunting height .

I emailed them awhile back. They told me estimated launch around June and somewhere around $150.

That almost sounds comfortable. Bout like a pair of binoculars? I hate having binos on my chest though. I may change things up, but right now I climb with everything on me. Bow on backpack and platform behind me on my saddle. I will carry my one stick and usually put a hand on my platform to keep it from bouncing while walking. It bounces wether behind me or beside me……I’ve tried both ways and like it behind me better. A small paracord loop on the platform and there are a variety of ways to hook it to your saddle.

I really dislike having anything on my chest when I 1-stick, and generally ground my pack when I climb and descend. The thought of falling on top of something hard I've strapped to myself is really unappealing.

Befriendly,
Aside from the safely issues of something strapped to your chest, shooting your bow would be very difficult. One of the reasons I don't like my binos on my chest.

Never had an issue with my binos strapped to my chest hunting fixed stands. Since saddle hunting is new will I have an issue with my bridge/tether wearing a Bino harness? I hope not!

No you will not. Practice your exact setup on your platform only a foot off the ground. Test your bridge and tether height and dial everything in. Then go up one stick high and set your platform and do it all over again. Then work your comfort level up to full height. I wear a chest pack and it has never been in the way.

I wear my bino pack pretty high on my chest, and have never had string interference. Not even close. I was surprised but spent a lot of time shooting with my bino pack in various positions. When I get serious about trad I will revisit this but with my ancient compound, it hasn't been an issue.

Same here. Most everyone out west does it this way also. Look at videos from a Total Archery Challenge also.
