Cruzr XC or Latitude Method 2 - Tell me why

I like my XC but never sat in the Method. Regardless you’ll prob buy and sell a couple saddles so pick one and give it a try!
This is very true in regards to buying/selling saddles looking for your personal fit. "IF AT ALL POSSIBLE" - I highly recommend if you can attend a Saddle Meet-up in your area or can locate other saddle hunters near you, to go a try out as many rigs as possible. The meet-up/camping trip I posted above that I attended. . .there was A GANG of equipment to try out and everyone was very helpful and open with their rigs for all to try out - it was awesome!!! And this is something that really impressed me about Robert and Alisha. . .Robert brought out two big totes of other manufacturers of saddles that - HE OWNED - (MANY other brands, but can't remember just how many) and allowed all of us to take them for a test drive, then threw his saddle in the mix for all of us to use/abuse as well. He wasn't cocky or over confident with his product, but was like, "this is what else that is out there for the hunting world market and here is what we have to offer - check it out!!!" I wasn't the only one walking away with visions of a my next saddle rig in mind nor a new saddle going home!!! Morel of the story - put your ass in as many saddles from the various brands out there and see what turns your crank. Everyone is different body wise and everyone is different in hunting styles, it is up to you to find what makes a good fit.

Be method experience, but hunted out of an xc all last year. Had an h2 before that. Xc is really comfy and hard to beat for a big guy like myself. At 6’3” 260# it doesn’t cut into me or pinch at all. I set several all day hunts too.

The xc is superbly comfortable. I loved everything about the method 2. The rope belt, the magnets to hold it up, the company and owners. But no matter what I tried or did it felt like laying on a sofa of thorns. Wasn't meant to be

Can I knot just keep the saddle I have? Man all this talk of new saddles has me itching to get another. I am pretty comfy in my Hawk, but I have no doubt there’s one that will really give my rear end the hug it desires.
Congrats on the new saddle!

I had an XC for the last 2 years and sold it at Christmas after buying a Method 2 for Jan and Feb. After season was over decided I made a mistake and will probably get another XC but am waiting to see if they change the Waist belt to stiffer material. I've been saddle hunting for 7 years now and have owned and modded 8 saddles including a double Sit Drag. So far XC has been most comfortable but probably won't quit trying new ones!

Absolutely love my XC. The pleat is so easy to manage in the tree, no hip pinch. Also makes a great bucket seat for easy one-sticking. Love it.

I'll put in another "vote" for the Cruzr XC. :)
I purchased an H2 Tree Saddle, tried to get comfortable in it, made several adjustments and climbed several trees to put some "sit time" in it. However, I just couldn't get comfortable in it. It's a quality saddle with excellent workmanship. Just not for me.

I sold the H2, purchased a Cruzr XC and was totally amazed at the difference in comfort, fit and how it wears (or how it rides on me). I finished up this past season in it and am looking forward to several more seasons. I will be attempting the "one stick" method, along with rappelling this year. One of the reasons, is to lighten up how much gear I'm packing into the woods.

Everybody is different, because, well every-BODY-is-different.

I wouldn’t base my purchase decision on price alone, because it’s hard to put a price on comfort! (What’s the price difference between the two saddles? How manyhunts are you going on per year? What’s the price per sit?)

Quick example: $50 price difference between two saddles, Say you use it for 25 sits per year, That’s comes out to a $2 difference PER hunt to be comfortable or miserable.YMMV.

Try a couple out See what works best for you!

This thread is making me want to sell my Phantom and get a Cruzr XC. I've practiced in the Phantom a few times so I really have no experience, but I'm kind of thinking I should've grabbed a Cruzr

You def should try one. For me it’s still the most comfortable after sitting in 5 others

I think I may have to try it. Shouldn't have much of a problem selling either one I don't like

definitely! Every BODY is different….but five down these rabbit holes and you’ll see the the XC is raved about way more often than not. It’s generally a safe bet in my opinion. With that being said, I love my XC.

Bowhunter you gonna have to change your screen name! I think I’ll see an XC in my future too. No doubt if I didn’t like it, I could get my money back real quick.

Well I pulled the trigger. We'll see if I soon have a Phantom for sale

So ill have to go the opposite, i bought the xc because everyone raved about how great it was...i hated it, ended up buying the latitude method 2 and never looked back...word of mouth is great but hands on is way better

I was at the Ohio Deer and Turkey Expo last weekend and Cruzr was there. I stopped by the booth to look around and had no intentions of buying anything. I walked out with an XC and a Seeker. His 2 panel saddle was money but I liked the simplicity of the XC.

Currently sitting in my newly delivered Cruzr.
I'll be selling my Phantom. The comfort level is exceptionally better. Additionally I just feel more secure when pivoting around a tree, which ranks higher in importance for me over comfort.
