That would be interesting to see if that would work. I've got a dozen of these things laying in my garage but could never get them as tight as I'd like with the whoopie sling they come with

I tryed it yesterday. Couldn't get the amsteel daisy chain tight enough. It did work but when I stepped on it, it would pull away from the tree about 1 inch.

It was a chain I made for my sticks, so probably 1 1/2" diameter loops out of 1/4". It may work with smaller amsteel and smaller loops.
