I thought I'd share my attempt at a collapsible endless loop string jig. Assembled from scrap lumber, unistrut, and misc hardware. Haven't made any strings on it yet. I saw a picture of another collapsible jig and I thought that was an appealing idea.
I'll point out here that while I own and mostly shoot a compound, this is for making recurve strings out of B55. I've also made a few Flemish Twist strings.
If I were to make it again, I wouldn't use pressure-treated lumber as it's unreasonably heavy for what it is.
