Yep. That's cool. I've got a bowhunter harness I've been doing similar with. But yours has padding. I'm sure it's more comfy than my harness with a swing seat(now a sit drag seat).I just use the back rest I bought with my evolution.
I like the idea. Lighter. Less restrictive. Cheaper.
I modified my evo to reduce weight too, but I like the harness/seat for different reasons than I like the my"saddles"
