Use existing linesman belt or make your own. Line, prusik
knot and two loops.

You could get that way tighter by eliminating the Prusic knot. Just wrap the rope over the button, behind the rope underneath that back across the front back over the top rope and Halfhitch it

I did this mod to my sticks. Once I added etriers to each stick I ended up switching back to the Lone Wolf straps. The rope mod definitely works.
