I’m looking into machining my own platform base I was wondering if someone could tell me the thickness of the xop or lone wolf platform. I’m going to machine the cutout and the v and then weld tabs for attaching the post it’s going to based of the klemz design but larger like a cut down lone wolf base. Since I’m machining from solid I was wondering if I can go with a slightly thinner platform vs. sand cast? Thanks.
