In my mind it’s some sense of redundancy. I can still adjust up with one hand. Good idea? Bad idea? Neither?

Redundant but not a big deal. A prusik with a micro pulley is easier. Whatever works.

I will be incorporating this. I had considered it this past weekend in the tree. There weren't no deer. Maybe I shoulda scouted....

We are in a “drought” and acorns are falling fast. Deer movement is limited.
