Don't PlastiDip Your Platform

Wanted to share a recent DIY fail of mine in case anyone was thinking of this. I was thinking plasti dip would make my platform quieter and maybe even add grip. I did 3 coats and then a camo rattle can job.

It wasn't any quieter, got way more slippery, and started peeling really bad after 2 short hunts. Maybe this will save someone some time!

Edit: I had a few pics, but it says the files are too big
I noticed some wear on the center bar of my primal steps that I basically did the same thing to. I used textured spray paint over the plasti-dip there, which in hindsite probably wasn’t the best idea.

Roll-on truck bed liner works well. I did my predator with it two years ago and it's still good.
I bought a can of the spray stuff last week, just haven't had time to put it on yet. Hopefully better.

Thanks for this post and your humility. Could save someone a lot of frustration!
