Eastern Woods Outdoors knee pads

I've used the trophyline kneepads the last 2 years and while they've worked, I wanted to try something different so I bought the ewo kneepads. They feel comfortable on my knees and seem like they would stay up, but I can't say if they do or not in a hunting situation. I tagged out in early November and have only worn them in my basement for a few min.

I put my kneepads on at the truck. The way I climb I use knees to push off/maneuver. I also like having them on for crossing over logs or having to crawl under something. Whenever I stop and take a breather I just flop down on my knees and get a drink of water or dig out the thermacell or I tether to the nearest tree and pop a squat. They can get caught up in thick brush and I do need to snug them up every once in a while. Spot and stalk I like them on also...I can take a knee real quick and not worry about a pinecone or sticker vine thorn in the kneecap. The thin pants I wear have noticably more wear below and above where the kneepad rides.... At the end of the day walking back to the truck I buckle them to the bow riser or put away in the storage pouch on my vest.

I have the Arctery'x and the Tethrd, currently, and I've had a Chinese pair of Arctery'x knock-offs... I have no gripe or issue with any off them, personally! I wear mine 99% of the time, EXCEPT if I'm layering my legs at the tree. No issues during long/brushy walks in. The Chinese pair had inferior quality elastic etc., but I didn't have them long enough for anything to deteriorate (so no issues other than possible longevity... The EWO pads seem to fit into this category very nicely, with the exception of connection buckle type. I've eyed them up, but no real reason to purchase given the two sets that I have, which are most likely virtually identical in fit and function. Definitely a consideration, if and or when, I need a new pair.

If you can't guess, I like this style...

I use these:

I put them on before heading out-whether I'm climbing or hunting on the ground. Keeps my arthritic knees nice & warm, as well as dry! I've never had issues with them creeping down my leg on the walk in. They also hold my knaider plenty well when I use it- I just wrap it about 1/3 of the way down the shield & cinch it up-never had an issue with that either!

I see these are like the ones from latitude. Has anyone used these as well as the EWO or Arcteryx style and have a comparison between these two styles? 29F0DCFF-18EC-4D23-856D-C6FE05A9F648.png

Just a heads up....I ordered those from that same company in Nov and still not received...I canceled
Thanks for the heads up. If I get that style I’ll probably just get it from latitude. Alta does have them for a similar prices on their page as well. 0C90DDB7-E8B8-4C51-B010-873EA1F64306.png

I have the Latitude version and my dad has the Alta version. They are the same knee pad, Latitude had them make them in their own color. They have been my favorite knee pad to date. The only pad I have found that are almost unnoticeable when wearing, even walking in them. I had the Emerson knock off Arcteryx style. They sucked, the EWO pads are tempting at the current price though. They appear to be much better built from the pics.

Yeah they where $55 when I got them so not much saved with them now. Shipped 2 weeks after order. I’d get the latitudes with not much price difference anymore.
